What is the best alternative to Control4 in the UK?

Does Loxone have a subscription like 4Sight?
No. The Loxone app, remote access, notifications and firmware updates are free for the life of the system. Everything is processed locally on the Miniserver, so there is no cloud service to pay for and none to lose. A typical London family home runs £15,000–£40,000 installed, and then £0 a month afterwards.
Can Loxone match Control4 for AV?
Honestly: not for complex AV distribution. Loxone handles multi-room audio natively (the Audioserver drives up to 24 zones with Spotify and AirPlay built in) and integrates displays and projectors for scenes, but if your brief is a large video matrix with many sources, Control4’s driver library is the better tool. Where Loxone wins decisively is everything else in the house — lighting, climate, shading, energy and security logic that runs itself rather than waiting for the app.
Can you take over or replace my existing Control4 system?
We can replace the control layer with Loxone while keeping most of what you paid for: speakers, displays, network infrastructure, lighting circuits and cabling generally stay. What we cannot do is reprogram Control4 itself — that requires a Control4 dealer, and the project files usually sit with the original one.
