Friday Night

This is what we actually sell.An evening, not a spec sheet.

7:58pm

Someone shouts "movie night"

Popcorn’s in the bowl. Nobody is hunting for remotes, checking cables, or asking which input the TV needs to be on. There’s nothing to set up.

8:00pm

One press of "Cinema"

The blinds glide shut and seal out the streetlight. The lights fade to a warm glow. The screen wakes, the sound comes alive, and the room you eat breakfast in becomes somewhere else entirely.

8:01pm

The film begins

Sound comes from everywhere and nowhere — the speakers live in the ceiling and walls, invisible. Dialogue is crystal clear at any volume. The kids hear the rain falling from above them.

9:12pm

Somebody needs the loo

Press pause and the lights lift gently — just enough to cross the room safely, never enough to break the spell. Press play and the room settles back down by itself.

10:45pm

Credits roll

One press and the room quietly puts itself back: lights to a soft evening level, screen off, everything powered down properly. Tomorrow morning it’s just your living room again.

In Glorious

Every standard that matters.Described the only way that matters.

We install and calibrate the latest audio and video formats — but you'll never need to know how they work. You'll just notice how the room feels.

Dolby Atmos

Rain falls from above you. A helicopter passes overhead. Sound with height, not just surround.

Dolby Vision

Blacker nights, brighter sunrises — the picture graded scene by scene, exactly as the director saw it.

DTS:X

Sound that follows the action around the room instead of sitting inside the speakers.

IMAX Enhanced

The expanded picture and the full-scale mix, certified to reach your sofa the way it was mastered.

4K & 8K Laser

A picture so sharp you forget it’s a picture — from a projector that never needs a lamp change.

HDR10+

Sunlight that gleams and shadows that keep their detail — dynamic range your TV at the shop never showed you.

HDMI 2.1 · 4K/120

Films tonight, gaming tomorrow — cinema-scale play at speeds that feel like liquid.

Lossless Audio

Every note the studio recorded, bit for bit — nothing compressed out of your music or your films.

Whatever you watch — streaming, disc, sport, or gaming — the system recognises the format and plays it at its best, automatically. You never touch a setting.

What Life With It Looks Like

Built around your family, not around the equipment.

Your living room, living two lives

By day it’s the room where homework happens and guests have coffee. At night, one button turns it into a cinema — and in the morning there’s no trace: no speaker boxes, no black slabs of equipment, no cables. The technology lives in the ceiling, the walls, and a cupboard you never open.

The details, if you want them

  • Speakers built invisibly into ceilings and walls
  • A screen or projector that suits the room by daylight
  • All equipment hidden away, out of sight and out of mind

Or the real thing, down the hall

If you have a spare room, a basement, or a garage begging for a better life, we’ll build you the full experience: a vast, pin-sharp picture, sound that moves around and above you, seats arranged so every one is the best in the house, and lighting that makes walking in feel like an occasion.

The details, if you want them

  • Laser projection on a true cinema screen
  • Dolby Atmos — sound above, around, and behind you
  • Acoustics and seating designed so every seat is the good seat

The evening doesn’t end when the film does

The same system fills the rest of the house with music. Dinner playlist in the kitchen, radio in the bathroom, silence in the nursery — and when friends drift from the table to the garden, the music simply comes along. No portable speaker being carried from room to room.

The details, if you want them

  • Music in up to 24 rooms, each playing its own thing
  • Spotify, AirPlay, and radio built straight in
  • The doorbell and morning alarm use the same hidden speakers

So simple the kids run it

There is no instruction manual for your family to learn. One button on the wall or a word to Siri starts the film. Everything powers up in the right order, every time — no "which remote?", no wrong inputs, no calling you downstairs to fix it. Grandparents included.

The details, if you want them

  • One button replaces the drawer full of remotes
  • Everything switches on in the correct order, automatically
  • If anything ever misbehaves, we can usually fix it remotely

Why it feels better than it should

Here’s the quiet secret of a great home cinema: it isn’t the price of the speakers, it’s that someone measured the room and tuned everything to it. We calibrate the sound and picture to your walls, your sofa position, your room — so films feel the way the director intended.

The details, if you want them

  • Sound measured and tuned to where you actually sit
  • Picture aligned and colour-set, not just switched on
  • The difference you can’t point at, but never stop noticing
A London family absorbed in a film in their home cinema

“You stop noticing the technology. You start feeling the film.”

The best compliment a home cinema can get is that nobody talks about it — they just keep choosing the sofa over the multiplex.

Where To Start

Movie nights, three ways.Designed around your room, not a price list.

The first step

Upgrade the living room

Keep your TV, transform the evening. One button closes the blinds, dims the lights, and starts the film — with sound that finally matches the picture.

  • Your TV or a new screen, woven in
  • The one-button "Cinema" scene
  • A proper step up in sound

The favourite

Most chosen

The room that transforms

A living room or snug with invisible speakers and a picture that appears at night — the full cinema feeling, without giving up the room.

  • Speakers hidden in ceilings and walls
  • A big, beautiful picture — projector or screen
  • Nothing on show when the film ends

The dream

The dedicated cinema

A room whose only job is film night. Walk in, the lights greet you, and every seat is the best seat in the house.

  • A vast, pin-sharp cinema picture
  • Dolby Atmos above, around, and behind you
  • Seating, acoustics, and lighting designed as one

Every project starts with a free design visit. We look at the room, listen to how your family would use it, and come back with a fully itemised proposal — so you choose exactly where to invest.

Part of the Whole Home

Cinema night is one scene.Your home has many.

The same quiet intelligence that runs your film night also wakes the house gently in the morning, warms the rooms you actually use, and shifts the lighting with the day. If the doorbell rings mid-film, the sound dips and you see who it is. When the last person leaves the room, it tidies up after itself.

That's the difference between buying AV equipment and living in a home that thinks. Curious what the rest of the day feels like? Wander through the features your home could have.

How It Happens

You choose the films. We do everything else.

We visit, measure the room, understand how you want to use it — film nights, sport, gaming, music — and agree a realistic budget range.

02

System Design

Speaker layout, screen size and sightlines, acoustic plan, kit list, and lighting scenes — documented and itemised before anything is ordered.

03

Questions

Home cinema, answered honestly

How much does home cinema installation cost in London?

It depends entirely on the room and the experience you want — which is why every project starts with a free design visit rather than a price list. There are three broad entry points: upgrading your living room with one-button cinema control and properly better sound; a transforming media room with invisible in-ceiling speakers and a projector or large screen; and a fully dedicated cinema room with acoustic treatment, tiered seating, laser projection, and Dolby Atmos. After the design visit you receive a fully itemised proposal, so you can see exactly what each element costs and choose where to invest.

Can I have a proper cinema in my living room?

Yes — this is most of what we build. In-ceiling or in-wall speakers disappear into the room, an ultra-short-throw projector or frame TV suits the space during the day, and a one-button scene transforms it at night: blinds close, lights dim to 10%, and the AV powers up in the right order. You get 90% of the dedicated-room experience without giving up a room.

What is the difference between a cinema room and a media room?

A dedicated cinema room is engineered around picture and sound: controlled light, acoustic treatment, fixed seating positions, and a projector as the primary display. A media room is a multi-purpose living space — lounge, playroom, snug — upgraded with high-quality hidden AV that transforms for film nights but stays a normal room the rest of the time. Media rooms cost less and suit most London homes; dedicated rooms deliver the last word in performance if you have the space.

Do I need acoustic treatment?

For a dedicated cinema room, yes — it makes more difference than spending the same money on more expensive speakers. Bass traps, absorption panels, and the right wall build-up control echo and boom so dialogue stays clear at any volume. For media rooms, we design around the room's existing acoustics and use speaker placement and calibration to get the best from the space without visible treatment.

Projector or TV for a home cinema?

For a dedicated dark room, a 4K laser projector with a 100-inch-plus screen delivers the true cinema experience and is better value per inch of picture. For rooms with daylight, modern large-format TVs (77-98 inches) or ultra-short-throw laser projectors with ambient-light-rejecting screens are the practical choice. We demo both options during design so you decide with your own eyes.

What is Dolby Atmos and is it worth it?

Dolby Atmos adds height speakers so sound moves above you as well as around you — rain falls from the ceiling, aircraft pass overhead. In a dedicated cinema or media room with in-ceiling speakers it is absolutely worth it, and because we're already installing ceiling speakers for many layouts, the upgrade cost is often modest. We design layouts from 5.1.2 up to 7.2.4 depending on the room.

How does the cinema integrate with the rest of the smart home?

This is the difference between an AV installer and us. Your cinema becomes a Loxone scene: one button closes the blinds, dims the lights, sets the temperature, and powers the AV chain in the correct order. Pause the film and lights lift gently; end the film and the room resets. The same system runs your lighting, heating, security, and multi-room audio — one app, no subscriptions, everything processed locally.

Can you install multi-room audio without redecorating?

Usually, yes. In-ceiling speakers need only a cutout and a cable run through the void, and wireless zones can cover rooms where cabling is genuinely impractical. A typical whole-house audio retrofit takes two to four days. Where you're renovating anyway, we first-fix the cabling early so the finished walls stay perfect.

Do you install home cinemas outside London?

Yes. We're based in Hatch End (North West London) and cover Greater London and the Home Counties — Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Surrey. Dedicated cinema builds travel further by arrangement.

Your first film night is closer than you think.
