Houses & Small Conversions: DoorBird + Loxone
For a house, we fit DoorBird: a wired, PoE-powered video door station that puts live view, two-way audio and the unlock button inside the same Loxone app that runs the rest of the home. Because the doorbell press is an event inside the smart home, the house reacts — porch lights come up for an evening caller, the press rings through the multi-room audio in occupied rooms, and answering from the office looks identical to answering from the kitchen. DoorBird's multi-button and keypad panels extend the same system to smaller conversions of two to four flats, each with its own app answering and door release.

Bigger multi-tenant buildings need individual calling, per-flat door release, resident fob access and central management when tenants change. Paxton Entry does all of it on the same Net2 software as the building's access control: one panel at the communal door, monitors or app answering in each flat, and a departed tenant's fob and app access revoked in one screen — in seconds, without touching the other flats. The dividing line from DoorBird is management: once a building needs resident fobs and central tenant administration, Net2 wins.

Offices & Commercial Entrances
A staffed reception is expensive and an unstaffed door is a risk. A video entry panel with keypad and fob reader covers deliveries, visitors and staff on one entrance: staff badge through, visitors call whoever they're visiting, and every entry is logged with a timestamp and a snapshot. On a gated property the panel lives on a post at the gate line and releases a gate motor rather than a door strike. We interface with your existing gate controller rather than replacing it, fit a ground loop or free-exit button so leaving never needs a fob, and configure emergency release properly.
