Loxone Touch Pure Display: First Look at the New Room Controller (2026)

On 15 July 2026, Loxone released the Touch Pure Display — its first room controller built around a full display rather than fixed touch points. As certified Loxone partners, we've been waiting for this one. Here's what it is, how it differs from the Touch Pure and Touch Pure Flex you may already know, and what it means if you're planning a smart home installation in London.

What Is the Touch Pure Display?

The Touch Pure Display is a wall-mounted glass panel with a customisable touchscreen that controls everything in the room — lighting scenes, temperature, blinds, and multi-room audio — from a single elegant surface. Where the classic Touch Pure gives you five fixed touch points and the Touch Pure Flex gives you a laser-etched LED matrix, the Display gives you an actual interface: tiles for lighting moods, sliders for temperature, playlists for audio. It shows the time when idle and wakes as you approach.

The Interface Adapts to You — and Keeps Adapting

The headline feature is flexibility. The on-screen layout and colour schemes are fully customisable, and — unlike a printed switch — the design can be changed at any time. Redecorated the room? Change the panel theme to match. Turned the study into a nursery? Swap the controls without touching the wiring. Built-In Room Sensors

The Touch Pure Display comes in both of Loxone's connection technologies. The Tree version wires into new builds and major renovations over Loxone's green bus cable. The Air version communicates wirelessly — which means we can add a display-based room controller to an existing London home without chasing cables through walls. If you already have a Loxone system, an Air version can join it as easily as any other Air device.

Where It Fits: Display vs Touch Pure vs Flex

Our early take on speccing the three: the classic Touch Pure remains perfect for rooms where five functions cover everything — bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms. The Touch Pure Flex suits projects that want custom-labelled physical buttons, like hotels and rental properties. The Touch Pure Display is the one for main living spaces — kitchens, living rooms, master suites — where you genuinely control many things from one spot and want to see what you're doing: which playlist, what temperature, which lighting scene. In a typical whole-home design we'd now mix all three, room by room.

What It Means for Your Project

If you're planning a Loxone smart home installation, the Touch Pure Display slots straight into the standard architecture: it talks to the same Miniserver, joins the same app, and needs no subscription — like everything Loxone, you buy it once and own it. Existing TechnoActive clients can add Display panels to their current systems; the Air version makes that a clean retrofit.
